About Kim Postma

I graduated from Providence Christian College (Pasadena, CA) in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in English Literature. In June of 2012, I earned my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate, and in August of the same year I started working as an ESL teacher on Jeju Island, South Korea for elementary students. After I completed my one-year contract, I moved to Tokyo, Japan and taught for another year. I returned to the States after two years abroad, and was hired by Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in August of 2017 as an English tutor for the international students, but I also worked closely with their Director of Distance Education, which enabled me to gain experience in various educational software programs. My experience with Populi in particular was a strong draw for HTS, but so is my heart for Christ’s church and the lost.
