Distance Learning

Do you know of someone who demonstrates interest in the things of the Lord? Or, individuals who have a gift for teaching? Or, an individual who has expressed interest in a ministry career but is uncertain if they want to pursue that avocation or disrupt their life to determine confirmation of those gifts?

Distance learning may be an avenue to test those gifts and determine if learning about the ministry or actually preparing for work in the ministry of the Lord is the path for them. A little like Gideon’s setting out the fleece in Judges 6:37-40 in determining God’s will for His life.

Distance learning courses are now available at Heidelberg Theological Seminary. Benefits of this approach to initiate studies include flexibility to attend class lectures on your schedule, delayed need to relocate to the seminary, minimal equipment requirements involving a PC with internet accessibility, and reduced economic impact by maintaining current work schedules without having to relocate.

There are two avenues of enrollment via distance learning. They are either full enrollment in the course for credit or auditing of the course to gain knowledge in the subject matter.
